Yes or no: 3x2 − 21 = 3(x + 7)(x − 3)?
Nope. I answered this already!
... Yes or no question and I gave you a medal for something htat I didnt understand!
*that
factor our your 3 first... that leaves you with 3(x^2-21)
woops i mean 3(x^2-7)
\[3x^2-21\]\[3(x^2-7)\]\[3(x-\sqrt{7})(x+\sqrt{7})\]
uh... (x^2-7)?
@yummydum that is what @primeralph said and I doesnt make sense.
to me atleast.
what part doesnt make sense?
@britanny_ Because you din't understand something doesn't mean it's senseless. Know that.
@primeralph, let's calm down here and try helping :) britanny said it didnt make sense to her, not that it was senseless
Ok thanks @southpaw! And @primeralph I didnt say that it was wrong. I said that It was confusing to me.
okay so when you have x^2-7 if you do x+sqroot(7) and x-sqroot(7), when you multiply that out it gives you an x^2 term and a constant but no x term
