OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok hold on let me help

OpenStudy (emilyjones284):

simplify using the radical form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ill give multiple answers:)hope i help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you mean -(25^(1/2)), that's -sqrt(25), which is -5. If you mean (-25)^(1/2), that's sqrt(-25), which doesn't exist in the real numbers, but can be equal to the imaginary numbers +5i or -5i, where i is defined as sqrt(-1). depends on where the minus sign goes: if it's (-25)^(1/2) then it's √(-25) = 5i where i = √(-1) if it's -[25^(1/2)] then it's -√25 = -5 -25^1/2 = -1^1/2*25^1/2 = 5i or -5i -25x-12.5=312.5 DID I HELP?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:)

OpenStudy (emilyjones284):

it should just be 5
