A committee of six is to be formed from nine women and three men. in how many ways can the members be chosen, to include at least one man? I got 840, is this answer correct? My working out: 3C1*9C5+3C2*9C4+3C3*9C3=840.

Can I have one more person confirm please? :)

OpenStudy (rsadhvika):

total combinations = 12C6 combinations without a single man = 9C6 combinations with atleast one man = 12C6-9C6 = 840

OpenStudy (rsadhvika):

So, good job !
