URGENTLY needed!!!!!!!!! What is the concentration oh H+ ions in an acidic solution with a pH of 1?

thomaster (thomaster):

\(\Large pH=-log[H^+]\) \(\Large [H^+]=10^{-pH}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats right thomas. :D Understand, rane?

OpenStudy (rane):

mw brother just told me to use this right now 2

OpenStudy (rane):

bt how does it work? i have never used it before ?

thomaster (thomaster):

Just plug in the pH, and you'll get the [H+] \(\Large [H^+]=10^{-1}\)

OpenStudy (rane):

its 1

thomaster (thomaster):

\(\Large 10^{-1}=0.1\)

OpenStudy (rane):

yes and if i use \[\log_{0.1} = -1 \]

thomaster (thomaster):

you need to do -log(0.1)

OpenStudy (rane):

ok thanks

thomaster (thomaster):

You're welcome :)
