The average kinetic energy for a volume of gas can be found by multiplying the following: 3/2, temperature (in Kelvin), and the gas constant, 0.0821 L*atm/mol K. True or false?
Isnt this false?
Which of the following explains why gas molecules diffuse? Answer Different types of gases are attracted to each other. Gases move freely in all directions. Gases are mostly empty space. Gases at higher temperatures have a higher average kinetic energy. Is this B or C? I'm thinking C.
Why is the previous one false..
I'm not sure - I didn't think it followed the kinetic energy formula?
Do you kno kinetic molecular theory of gases???there is a formula there to calculate the Average kinetòic energy T
OHH, so then it would be true?

No its not
sorry for late replies. i was using my tablet and it was too slow..
no prob thanks for the help, so if it not c would it be d because the energy in gas molecules are higher then compared to solids/liquids - therefore gas molecules diffuse quicker?
gases move in all directions thats why they diffuse.
