first, you would use the pythagorean theorum to figure out hthe diameter of the circle

the diameter is 1, and 1 multiplied by pi (3.14) is equal to an area of 3.14. THat is the answer

well and of course, the circumference is always approximated. And no, you would not get anything else.

okay so how could I write it out? 0.8^ = 0.6^2 = 1 * pi would give you 3.14 because your using the Pythagorean theorem ?

first you right out 0.8^2 +0.6^2=c 0.64+0.36=1 then you use the one to solve for circumference 1*3.14 = a circumference of approx. 3.14
