Which of the following best describes how an electron moves when it releases energy? The electron is pulled into the nucleus. The electron moves to a higher energy level. The electron moves to a lower energy level. The electron is pulled to another atom.

according to bohr's electron model for single electron, there is a constant energy level, like n=1,2,3/K,L,M etc.in this level or shells/orbits the angular momentum is conserved as a multiple of \[nh \div 2\pi \] where n=1,2,3..(main shell no),h=plancks constant(6.6X10^-34js),so the energy is constantly increasing..an electron orbiting in any shell always have the same energy, but if is radiates its energy, then its total energy decreases, and comes down to a lower energy state shell..so option c is correct.

lol. ok.... anyways, yes you're moving to a lower energy level.
