yes, you need the center, and also \(a\) and \(b\) standard form is \[\frac{(x-h)^2}{a^2}+\frac{(y-k)^2}{b^2}=1\] for an ellipse with center \((h,k)\) final answer should be \[\frac{(x+3)^2}{9}+\frac{y^2}{25}=1\]
