to get x intercept, just plug in y=0 in your function!
any particular example ?
(2x^3)+2)/(x-3)
so, y=( 2x^3+2 )/ (x-3) = 0 can you continue ?
Would you multiply both sides by (x-3)?

yes, what'd u get ?
x-3 - 2x^3 + 2 Then what????
not actually, if a/b = 0 , then a must be 0 so here, just 2x^3+2= 0 got this ?
Ohhh...
so then we ca do 2= 2x^3 then divide by 2 and get 1 = x^3

making x = 1, right?
2x^3+2 =0 2x^2 = -2 .... not +2, isn't it ?
Ohhhh.. Ugh XD so -1 = x^3
yup, so the only one real x intercept, you get here is ?
-1?
