What would be the volume in liters of an ideal gas, if a 0.111 mole sample of the gas had a temperature of 1130 degrees Celsius at a pressure of 5.45 atmospheres? (The ideal gas constant is 0.0821 L•atm/mol•K.)

thomaster (thomaster):

Use the ideal gas law PV=nRT P= pressure in atm V= volume in Liter n= number of moles R= ideal gas constant T= temperature in kelvin So first convert celcius to kelvin and then put everything in the formula To find only the volume you can rewrite it to \(\sf\large V=\dfrac{nRT}{P}\)
