What are the vertex coordinates for y=-16x^2+190+6? and y=-16x^2+210+7, also y=-16+230+7?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

for quadratics having a squared "x" component, you can find the vertex by using \(\bf \left(-\cfrac{b}{2a}, c-\cfrac{b^2}{4a}\right)\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have (0,6) for the first one, (0,7) fro the second and third one.

@jdoe0001

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

ok, well, then if that's what you got using the points up there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can I show you what I am trying to do with these?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

ok

2.Use graphing technology to graph the equation for each motor. Set rounding to 5 places. Save a copy of each graph and paste them here or attach them to the assignment. If you are using GeoGebra, follow these instructions to find the vertex and x-intercepts. (15 points total, 5 points each graph) 3.Look at each motor's graph and find the vertex coordinates. Then report them below. (12 points total, 4 points each) Motor A Vertex coordinates: Motor B Vertex coordinates: Motor C Vertex coordinates: This is where Im stuck..

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hmmm, ok, I don't see any pictures for one but if those are the equations you ended up with the vertex will be at \(\bf \left(-\cfrac{b}{2a}, c-\cfrac{b^2}{4a}\right)\)
