yes, when we want to get rid of say "pesos" we have to divide by "pesos" so that they cancel each other out, then we can multiply it by conversion rate in dollars
12 years ago
OpenStudy (amistre64):
\[5000\cancel{(p)}*\frac{17.94($)}{.05574\cancel{(p)}}\]

OpenStudy (amistre64):

OpenStudy (amistre64):
\[5000\cancel{(p)}*\frac{1($)}{.05574\cancel{(p)}}\]or
\[5000\cancel{(p)}*\frac{17.94($)}{1\cancel{(p)}}\]
