The surface area of a cylinder is given by the formula: \(SA = 2\pi r^2 + 2 \pi r h\) In the formula, the first part (\(2 \pi r^2 \)) is the area of the two bases, and the second part (\( 2 \pi r h\)) is the lateral area. In your case, you know \(SA = 150 \pi ~in.^2 \), and \(h = 2r\). Solve the second equation below for r. \(SA = 2\pi r^2 + 2 \pi r h\) \(150 \pi ~in.^2 = 2\pi r^2 + 2 \pi r (2r)\)
