Use Newton's Law of Cooling, T = C + (T0 - C.ekt, to solve the problem A cup of coffee with temperature 102°F is placed in a freezer with temperature 0°F. After 8 minutes, the temperature of the coffee is 52.5°F. What will its temperature be 13 minutes after it is placed in the freezer? Round your answer to the nearest degree.
this is miles ahead of your previous questions
i can show you a snap way to do this if you like
Please and thankyou
i dont know why this is in my course
use only the numbers given \[102\times \left(\frac{52.5}{102}\right)^{\frac{t}{8}}\] s a formula
then replace \(t\) by \(13\) and compute \[102\times \left(\frac{52.5}{102}\right)^{\frac{13}{8}}\] with a calculator
looks like 35 degrees rounded http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=102%2852.5%2F102%29^%2813%2F8%29
Thanks alot
