the radius of the planet Saturn is 6.03 x 10^7 m and its mass is 5.68 x 10^26 kg. a. Find the density of Saturn (its mass divided by its volume) in grams per cubic centimeter. b. Find the surface area of Saturn in square meters. (The surface area of a sphere is given by 4pir^2).
\[Surface area = 4 \pi r^2\] sub r in metres, then you'll get 4.5692 x 10^16 m^2
wait wait hold on i made a mistake on (a)
\[ρ=\frac{ mass }{ volume }\] \[V=\frac{ 4 }{3}πr^3\] find volume first : substitute values of r then you'll get 9.1842 x 10^-29 5.68 x 10^26 kg is 5.68 x 10^29 g then sub into density formula = sub mass n vol, then you'll get 1.6169 g cm^-3
book says 0.618 gm/cm^3
lol?
yeah correct,... sorry i devided it the wrong way
try invert my answer then you'll get your ans ;P sry devided wrongly
ok and for b?
also I am having trouble with teh other problem. Can you check it please
