How do I find unit rate ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A unit rate describes how many units of the first type of quantity corresponds to one unit of the second type of quantity. For example lets say if someone earned $57 in 6 hours then you would divide the amount earned ($57) by the number of hours (6 hours) because the unit rate would tell you how much money earned per hour. once you divide 57 by 6, your result should be 9.5.
