Okay. So for the first one, we can get a couple of different sums. Since we can get all the numbers 1-6 plus either 2, 7, or 5, we have the following list: {3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13} So that's the answer to the first question. For the next one, the expected value is just the sum of all the possible numbers times the probability of a single one happening. So it's\[(3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12+13) / 11\]Which is just 8. So the expected value is 8.
For the last one, I'm just going to give you some pointers, since you should be able to figure it out. A couple things are really important - first, we need to figure out repetition of certain numbers. Secondly, we need to take into account the way the problem changes if you earn different amounts of money for different spins. Call me over if you have any additional questions.
