Consider the reaction C(s)+CO2(g)⇌2CO(g). When 1.70mol of CO2 and an excess of solid carbon are heated in a 20.0L container at 1100K, the equilibrium concentration of CO is 7.58×10−2M What is the equilibrium concentration of CO2? What is the value of the equilibrium constant Kc at 1100 K?

First of all @mtorr025 : A Warm Welcome to 'Open Study'. Please Read CoC (compulsory to read by all "Open Study" users) : http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct

ok I read it, now what?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

1. Write an equilibrium expression e.g. aA + bB \(\rightleftharpoons\) cC + dD \(K_{fwd}=\dfrac{[C]^c*[D]^d}{[A]^a*[B]^b}\) (don't include solids, or water) 2. Make an I.C.E. (initial, change, equilibrium) and use [CO] given at eq. to find \([CO_2]\). 3. Plug in your values into the equilibrium expression and solve.
