i need answers fast for these questions or atleast some of them i don't have that much time left so please hurry (will post questions)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for \(8.2\times 10^{-5}\) move the decimal 5 places to the left

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it's 0.000082? thanks :]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

second one is a bit tricky \[x^0=1\] but for example \(5x^0=5\times 1=5\) not \(5x^0=1\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im a little confused.. so does that mean 2p0 doesnt equal to 1? so the answer would be C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(2p^0=2\times 1=2\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Third one you need to realize that: \[x^{-a}=\frac{1}{x^a}\] So \[mn^{-7}=m*\frac{1}{n^7}=\frac{m}{n^7}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can apply the same principle to question 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thank you :] i'll work on that for a bit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For question 5, I believe the answer is B since there is five significant digits and you require to move the decimal over 7 spaces

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For question 6...i believe the logical answer would be that it takes \(\frac{1}{2000}\) of a second to blink?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For question 7, you can use the same principle from question 3&4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And finally for question 8, hypothetically, the bigger the exponent, the bigger the number in this case

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so much!
