A solution of H2SO4(aq) with a molal concentration of 1.66 m has a density of 1.104 g/mL. What is the molar concentration of this solution?
I am having trouble figure out what 2 masses to add together.
H2SO4 is 98.08 g/mole
mass of solute (H2SO4) = morality x kg of solvent x molar mass of solute morality = 1.66 m molar mass of H2SO4 =98.08 g/mole mass of solvent = mass of solution - mass of solute
im still confused.
ok, so finding Molarity, you need to find the mass mass of H2SO4, the molar mass, and the L of solution Molarity = (mass of H2SO4 / molar mass of H2SO4) / L of solution
Do you know how to find the mass of 1.66 mole H2SO4 ?
i think so
chemistry confuses me a bit but i'll try to help
i have been good at it but i cant remember what i learned last semester.
I think I am good thanks. I got a friend here at school who can help me thanks.
ok that's great, really sorry for not understanding >.<
