The sum of an odd number of odd number is: A: Always odd. B: Always even. C: Sometimes odd, sometimes even. I don't care for the answer, since it already told me. I just don't understand what the problem is saying.

you can "prove" it if you like, knowing that an odd number looks like \(2k+1\)

Odd number and odd number always equal even. Odd numbers finish in either: \(\{1,3,5,7,9\}\) So if you look at \(\{1,3,5,7,9\}+\{1,3,5,7,9\}\) No matter which number you pick from either set. The two added together always are even.

Maybe "of" means multiplication. So, 5 * 7 = 35. And 35 is an odd. Oh wait, I think I answer my question.
