I got 4.0X10^(-12) for P using the equation B = 10log(I/I_0)
But how do I find how much energy is received by the eardrum per second?
How does the area factor in?
Energy per second is basically power. Power is intensity times area.
I'm sorry, I didn't put it up, the second part I'm trying to answer is "At this rate, how long would it take your eardrum to receive a total energy of 5.0J ?"
