An industrial process makes calcium oxide by decomposing calcium carbonate. Which of the following is NOT needed to calculate the mass of calcium oxide that can be produced from 4.7 kg of calcium carbonate? A. the balanced chemical equation B. molar masses of the reactants C. molar masses of the product D. the volume of the unknown mass

From my own point of view, the answer is D. This is because when calcium oxide is produced, the mole ratio between it and calcium carbonate is 1:1, as such we need the molar mass of calcium carbonate to get its moles used and also the molar mass of calcium oxide to calculate its mass produced after obtaining the moles.
