(as far as I understand the question right, and I might be wrong) D -> n1 to n2 A -> electron ejected B-> n1 to n3 C -> not absorbed

Your right! Can you explain why A was electron ejected?
n1 has -96 energy..so to eject it you have to give 96 energy..
