find the curvature of y=tanx using the formula |f''(x)|/[1+(f'(x))^2]^(3/2). I have (2tanxsec^2x)/[1+sec^4(x)]^(3/2) and not sure how to simplify

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hold on so the curvature is given by: \[ \frac{|f''(x)|}{(1+[f'(x)]^2)^{3/2}} \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is that what you're doing?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do you know you need to simplify?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nevermind I got it
