Is this a true statement: Suppose such integer k exists. I have proved this. However, I am trying to state it in a "proof" style way. The statement: k is an element of real numbers and has a domain of (-inf, 0)U(0, inf). Notice: I'm not asking you if k actually exists or for you to find it's domain. I'm asking if the statement I made is actually correct.

Sorry, delete that "is this a true statement" at the top. It doesn't make sense
OpenStudy (anonymous):
What do you mean by domain, it isn't a function...
OpenStudy (anonymous):
\[ k\in \mathbb{R}\wedge k\neq 0 \]
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok I see what you are saying...
OpenStudy (anonymous):
See, good thing I asked this.

that makes much more sense. k is an element of the real numbers and k cannot equal zero. This is what you stated, correct?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Yes.
