How is Sulphur trioxide related to Le Chatelier's Principle and how do they use it in real life?
You can apply Le Chatlier's principle to the reaction of sulphur trioxide, but it's not directly related to his principle. Do you know what Le Chatliers principle is? His principle states when a stress is applied to a chemical system at equilibrium, the equilibrium will shift to relieve the stress.
@abb0t or does it relate to sulphuric acid? if so how does it relate to Le Chatelier's Principle and how do they use it in real life?
I JUST told you!
By stress, they are referring to addition of maybe more sulphur trioxide to a system? or increasing/decreasing temp. It's a good way to get a emasure of how the reaction follows to achieve equilibrum.
@abb0t thanks!
