Aluminum 3+, Potassium 1+, and gold 1+. Its strange to see a charge on gold.

So they don't have an specific name like O^-2? Which is Oxide by the way.. Same with Br^-, which is Bromide Ion?

Aluminium(III) ion, Potassium ion, Gold(I) ion?

usually only the anions (negative ions) have the -ide endings

Oh yes.. the aluminum one since it's almost always in the 3+ state
