First you need to add the two terms on the left hand side by using a common denominator. A good choice for a common denominator would be 15. Can you do that step?

im not really sure how to do that... i know that for the denominator I should probably multiply 5 times 3 but then...

Move the 2/3 to the LHS, combine the resulting terms and simplify.\[\frac{1}{15} (1-2 x)=0\]\[x=\frac{1}{2} \]
