ok so first I convert grams to moles and i get \[1.999\approx2 mol\] either one is correct. then :\[M=\frac{ 2mol }{ 0.5L}=4M\] after converting the mL to L. so the correct final answer is 4 M. hope i helped!

I think that the solution is wrong Because Molarity=moles\liters

HCl is not 36 moles. that is the molar mass of HCl
the picture you did equals to moles
if 36 was moles, why would you put it in the denominator?
