I have a question about Bohr's atomic model. Why did bohr say that there can be 2, 8, 8, 2 electrons in the energy levels when there can actually be 2, 8, 18, 32 and our teacher mentioned how bohr was not complety wrong but I do not seem to understand how Can someone please explain

OpenStudy (waheguru):

How did bohr say that there were 2, 8 , 8 , 2 electrons in the energy levels?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry idk this one

OpenStudy (waheguru):

In other words, on what basis did Bohr say that the first four energy levels have the max of 2, 8, 8, 2 electrons?
