why can't I just use reverse product rule? that outta show it but when I do f(x)g(y) I get the following result: f(x) g(y)dy + g(y) f(x) dx
oh any equation like...2 dx + 5 dy = 0 that's like 2x+2y =c. . .

f(x) dx + g(y) dy <-- this is just plain separation of variables.
yeah but how to show that any equation in that formation is an exact equation...I did reverse product rules when I solve them
