Is s/cm the same with s *cm^-1???
yup
i didnt know it... Who remembers from school? ;p thanks a lot..usefull information
lol , its just a unit for velocity/speed [s/cm] = [s cm^-1]
wait a second, its seconds /cm ? so its not an unit for velocity
yea..I measured the resistance of the leaves' stomata of plants.. so it measure the velocity/speed of gas exchanges..
hey velocity unit should be cm/s right ?
it can be written as cm*s^-1
for velocity we say, mile/hour. we never say hours/mile
wait...it is correct.. s*cm^-1 is a unit for conductance (the opposite from resistance)
ohk !! if u are sure then its fine :)
im not good wid biology terms : conductance resistance :|
so to find the conductance from the given resistance i have to do: 1/resistance
okay
resistance unit is cm/s is it
the are both expressed in velocity units and the are temperature and pressure dependent
yes it is
okay... makes sene :)
thank you!
np :) thank you too :)
