If someone can help me understand, and figure this problem. If each substance costs the same amount per kilogram (kg), which would be most cost-effective as a way to lower the freezing point of water? (Assume complete dissociation for all ionic compounds.) Explain. Ill post the 5 molecules as a drawing.

@thomaster do you think you can help explain this too me please?
which one has the lowest molecular mass?
okay let me try and figure that out. I was freaking out because I thought I had to do something else 0.o okay Ill be right back , give me a minute please.
The one with the lowest molecular mass has the most molecules in 1 KG. So that would be the most cost-efficient way to lower the freezing point of water.
|dw:1379896786385:dw| @thomaster . so out of these 5 samples, b)NaCl would lower the freezing point of water, correct?
