1,0m long string is being held by force 98,0N. length mass of the string is 0,5g/cm. How much is frequency? answer is 22,13 f = 1/2L * sqrt(F/rho_L) f = (1/2*1m) * sqrt(98N / 50g/m) = 0,7Hz Where am i going wrong or is it typo in the book. it is standing wave.
