how many nitrogen atoms are contained in 2.36 moles of nitrogen molecules

thomaster (thomaster):

A nitrogen molecule = \(\LARGE N_2\) So 1 molecule contains 2 nitrogen atoms. To go from mol to number of particles, you multiply the amount of moles by avogadro's number (6.022*10^23) Then you multiply that by 2 (since there are nitrogen 2 atoms in each particle)

thank you very much:)
