Glass A and Glass B are the same size but glass A contains a larger volume of water. Which glass requires more heat to change it's temperature by 1 degree celcius?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I will guess that the glass with more water would take longer to heat. I am not sure though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

specific heat is the energy required to heat a substance through one degre celcius =m c (t2- t1) volume is related to mass content so glass having more volume will requie more heat tat is A as heat or energy required is directly proportional to mass to be heated
