You are given a culture of cells having an initial concentration of 1.3 X 10^8 cells / mL. From this you have to perform a serial dilution in order to plate them at a concentration of 50 cells / mL. illustrate how you would perform a serial dilution in the fewest steps possible to reach the required plating concentration. Use no more than a 1/100 dilution. I know you have to use C1V1=C2V2, but how?! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

wat volume do u require which has d concentration 50cells/mL?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I figured it out! i needed 2.6 x10^6 volume, so i just did that!

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

in mL rite?...ohh cool den:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):
