yeah I don't really know what my professor is trying to do here in this question...I have ever seen it so I wanted to see if someone ever saw it in this form

I found a group that gives out college CLEP math class so I was like "hey I'll gave it a shot!" I started the class on a pretty normal pace not getting super good score but doing alright...One it started getting more complex the professor started giving these really weird problems that I never saw before:/ he gave this as a extra credit problem...The End

But what I'm asking is, HOW did he "give" it? Were you given the exact text that you posted above? Is it on paper? online? what you posted doesn't make sense..... the "^" typically signifies an exponent, but an exponent HAS to have a base, and you are starting your expression with the ^ so I don't even know how to interpret it. Plus, you have "divided by..... divided by..... divided by...." etc. What I'm asking is, what EXACTLY did the teacher give you for this problem?

tell me about it my man! I have no idea...you know when you have like 2^2 it has the little 2 above the big two? that's how it looks on the problem...The class is also over line so I downloaded the text nook that the professor emailed me and printed it out...it makes no sense

Yes, but except for the c^2, none of your exponential expressions have bases. \(\large ^3ab/^2c/^{12}b^2/^{10}c^2=?\) It just doesn't make any sense, and I'm not sure how to interpret all the division either, although that might make more sense if the exponents made sense. I just think something is missing here. If you have any way to post a screen shot or image of the actual problem as given, maybe I can figure it out.
