If triangle XYZ is reflected across the line y = 1 to create triangle X'Y'Z', would the ordered pair of X' be (-4,5)?
y = 1 is a horizontal line
when u reflect anything over horizontal line, its x-coordinate will not change
so, X' will be (4, something)

Since you are reflecting about y=1, as @ganeshie8 said, the x coordinate won't change. The y coordinate will the SAME DISTANCE from y=1 as in the original point, but on the OTHER SIDE of the line y=1. It's like you put a mirror down where the line y=1 is, so everything is just "flipped" over that line. So where does the new point end up, vertically speaking? What is the y-coordinate that is the SAME DISTANCE from y=1, but on the opposite side of the line y=1?
(By the way, (4, -5) would be a reflection of the point over the x-axis. Notice that y=-5 is the same distance from the x-axis that y=5 is, but on the other side.)
