Atoms contain charged particles called protons and electrons. Each proton has a charge of +1, and each electron has a charge of –1. A sulfur ion has 16 protons and 18 electrons. Find the net charge.

OpenStudy (***[isuru]***):

hi, if a charge of a proton is +1 then charge of 16 protons r +16 if a charge of a electron is -1 then the charge of 18 electrons r -18 to find the net charge add those 2 values in the following way... 16 + (-18) Did ya get it ?
