due in 8 min... Please help Consider the curve x^{6} + 6 xy + y^{3} = 8 The equation of the tangent line to the curve at the point (1,1) find m and b where y =mx +b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got -15/6 for the m and 21/6 for the b but it says its wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got y = -2/3x + 5/3. Is that the right answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[ x^{6} + 6 xy + y^{3} = 8\] \[6x^2+6(xy'+y)+3y^2y'=0\] put \(x=y=1\) and solve for \(y'\)
