1.) Find the Differential of the Function: y=x^2sin(8x) ANSWER: DY=? 2.) y=ln*sqrt(5+t^2) ANSWER: DY=? 3.) y=tan*sqrt(5t) ANSWER: DY=? 4.)y=(2-v^2)/(2+v^2) ANSWER:DY=?

OpenStudy (allank):

You want to apply product rule for that one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is finding the Differential though, it is more than just the product rule

OpenStudy (allank):

Whoops, read differentiate

OpenStudy (allank):

From some quick reading, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Differential_of_a_function It appears that the differential of a function f(x) is \[dy = f'(x)dx \] where \[f'(x) \] is the derivative of f(x) with respect to x. So it's basically finding dy/dx and making dy the subject of the equation.
