How many moles of Mg^2+ and NO3^- form for each mole of Mg(NO3)2 that dissolves?

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

There is one mole of Mg^-2 ions per mole of Mg(NO3)2, and 2 moles of NO3^-1. The number of moles of each ion is equivalent to it's subscript in the ionic molecule.
