I did, but in other answers it said it had a 6d^1 in the end. That really confuses me, because the f orbital starts before the d?

That was my answer, the one I found in Google on a lot of different websites had a 6d^1 after the 5f^4. I realize I made a mistake at the 2p, disregard that.

You know you can use short hand, or look it up on Wikipedia. I don't think you're really expected to know the e\(^-\) configuration for that in High School since those elements with f-orbital are rarely used in many chemistry courses. Maybe inorganic or nuclear chemistry.
