would it be y' ?
it says \[\frac{ dy }{ dx }=y-8\]
when u differentiate y, you get y' when u differentiate 8, you get 0 so im thinking the answer is y'
do I have to integrate it?
yes or no.. from what i know, when u deal with the variable y. it is treated differently than x. for example if the problem x-8.. u integrate the x which would give u 1, but for y, it would be y prime or in other sense y'.. if u had a problem like y^(6)-8 that would equal to 6y^(5)y'..

idk if what im saying is making sense, but i just started dealing with differentiation not long ago
it does make sense but sounds way to easy which is why I think I am confused.
the y' process is called implicit differentiation.
