50 proton 48 electrons and 72 neutrons

OpenStudy (anonymous):

122 - 50 (atomic #) = 72 neutrons. We know that it has 50 protons b/c of the atomic number, and also that means 50 electrons in a neutral atom. Since it is a cation with a 2+ charge, it's means 2 electrons were taken away, causing a charge.
