i now that when you divide by a fraction u flip it to turn it into multiplication. But im a little confused with this one

you cant have a radical in the denominator.

you have the correct answer, the book just didn't want a fraction in a fraction
try multiplying what you got by (√3 / √3)

so you multiply the fraction by the radical

Your answer and the book answer are the same but Just a different form.
Multiply the top and bottom of your answer by sqrt(y) and you will get the book  answer
