I would need to go through her steps to figure this out....(That's why I am not going to be a math teacher) .... Alright, what does it mean "which statement corrects the flaw in Gina's proof?" I'll take this question as "which of the choices confirms the proof, and was not mentioned by her?" I think that A is the one not mentioned by her while proving and it is important for the prove, since because of 'A' we know that they are midpoints connected by the line, and nothing other than that. She said the 'B' when she talked about the slopes. (She said they're the same....) Obviously 'C' is meaningless because the triangle would|dw:1383981118576:dw| or|dw:1383981249295:dw| or |dw:1383981309302:dw|. In other words the triangle can be drawn in any way: diagonally, horizontally or vertically to the graph (or to the x&y plane), so the lines' slope as it's value doesn't matter what matters if they are same or not. For 'D', it is unnecessary to find the distance between E and D to prove this. The way I would prove, (why prove, see it, do it) |dw:1383980731703:dw| I always hated proofs, what's the point of proving that 5+6=11, I mean common....
