What is the unit called?
Introduction to Group Theory
it says to find the inverse for ( 1,2,3,4,) 1,2,3,4
I have never done this type of math before
matrices?
not really sure
http://virtualnerd.com/ you could go here, this helped me with a lot of math :))
thank u
is this consider Algebra
ugh I don't how to do this , so frustrated
I am not sure, I have done a couple of them in algebra, but they didn't make them a necessity to learn.
do you have any answer choices?
What course are you in @katerinag29 ?

one of those 4 links i posted if you click on them one of them is the answer
everyone gave up on me
@hartnn do you know this one?
I don't understand how to do it. I have watched videos but its not showing nothing like this
nopes, i haven't learnt this ath, sorry.
thanks
One of the answers looked like the question right?
yes
Choose that one... I think that one may be correct
Will it tell you if you are correct?
at the end it will but I can only take the quiz once
I think it is that one... because to go from the top row of numbers to the bottom you are adding 0... and inverse means to undo an operation... and you can't undo something where nothing happened. (I, myself, have not learned this but this is just based off of what inverse is supposed to do.)
yeah that is what I thought I will just guess and put that answer down
Do you know how to do theseDetermine which, if either, of the following sets form a group with respect to the given operation. I. {1, 2, 3, 4, 5}; multiplication modulo 7 II. the set of integers with respect to multiplication
At the end of the quiz do you mind letting me know if that one was ultimately correct?
yeah that is no problem
I'm really not sure about that one @katerinag29
ok thank you!! let me close this and post this one and see if anyone can help me
